Position:                                               Full-Time Truck Driver 

Salary:                                                  $85,000.00 plus superannuation 

Hours:                                                   38 hours per week 

ARN Haulage Pty Ltd is a transport company specialising in the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete and construction materials. We are committed to providing reliable transport services, maintaining high safety standards, and supporting major residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects across the region.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor load weights to comply with vehicle capacity and transport regulations.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of concrete handling procedures, including slump testing, on-site discharge safety, and cleaning protocols.
• Adhere to company procedures for environmental management, spill prevention, and waste disposal.
• Operate heavy trucks safely and responsibly to transport ready-mix concrete and related materials to and from batching plants, construction sites, and designated delivery points.
• Ensure strict compliance with all traffic, load, and workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical components—such as drums, chutes, tires, brakes, lights, mirrors, and hydraulic systems— are functioning properly and meet safety standards.
• Maintain the truck and associated equipment in clean, well-maintained condition to ensure reliability, safety, and professional presentation.
• Communicate effectively with batching plant operators, site supervisors, and project managers to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely concrete supply.
• Verify the accuracy of load tickets, delivery dockets, and batching instructions prior to departure.
• Oversee the proper loading and discharge of concrete, ensuring the mix is within specified slump and consistency requirements, and that loads are secured safely during transport.

Skills and Experience:

• The candidate must have at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Certificate III is required 
• Friendly, positive & approachable attitude.
• To be energetic & motivated.
• Able to work under pressure.

Requirements:

Must have a special class of license to drive a heavy truck.
